SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine - Amy L. Weinschenk has been named director of marketing at IntelliCare, Inc., a leading provider of medical contact center services and technology. She will be responsible for overseeing the company's marketing and sales strategies nationwide.

Weinschenk joined IntelliCare in August and has 12 years of experience in health-care marketing. She most recently served as director of marketing and communications for Portland-based Martin's Point Health Care, the state's largest not-for-profit health care provider.

A resident of Portland, Weinschenk is chairwoman of Eggs and Issues, a monthly business breakfast sponsored by the Greater Portland Chambers of Commerce that features high-profile speakers. She graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.
