Attorney Dawnangela Minton, an experienced litigator, has joined Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson in the regional law firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire offices.

Minton will serve in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing her practice on employment and commercial litigation, and white-collar criminal defense. She also will assist with bankruptcy matters at Bernstein, Shur, one of Northern New England’s largest firms with 80 attorneys in three locations.

The addition of Minton further bolsters Bernstein, Shur’s growing New Hampshire practice, which is anchored by Andru Volinsky, one of the Granite State’s best-known lawyers, and bankruptcy specialist Jennifer Rood.

Minton, a Manchester resident, is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who most recently served with the New Hampshire Appellate Defender. She also is a member of the adjunct faculty at New Hampshire Technical College, where she teaches courses in business law.

Minton received her law degree in 1998 from the College of Law at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She received her undergraduate degree in environmental geography from the University of Iowa in 1993.
