Attorney Daniel W. Walker has joined the statewide law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson and practices in the Legislative and Government Affairs Department. His practice focuses on representing the interests of clients in the Maine Legislature, the executive branch and before various state and federal governmental agencies.

Walker previously served as Legal Counsel to the Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives and as a litigation associate for a law firm in Salt Lake City.

A resident of Gray, Walker serves on the boards of the Gray Community Endowment and the Maine Songwriters Association. He is a 1991 graduate of Dartmouth College and received his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1996. Walker grew up in Blue Hill and is a 1987 graduate of George Stevens Academy.
