Krista C. Abbotoni has been named an assistant vice president in the Marketing Department at Banknorth Group, Inc. in Portland. As a product manager, she will continue to be responsible for product management, development and reporting.

Abbotoni joined Banknorth in 1994 and has seven years in banking. She has previously served as an officer, an associate product manager and a credit analyst. Kathryn M. Dion has been promoted to senior vice president at Banknorth Investment Management Group, NA, in Portland. As senior investment manager, she is responsible for overseeing all investment management activities in Maine.
