Chris Knickerbocker has joined Wolfe Public Relations, a Portland firm that specializes in news releases and distribution, as account coordinator. In his new role, he will be responsible for a variety of tasks relating to account services, including news release distribution, press clippings, press kit organization and media list maintenance.


Prior to joining Wolfe Public Relations, Knickerbocker served as an intern with the Portland Sea Dogs, a Double A baseball team now affiliated with the Boston Red Sox. His duties included assisting with numerous promotions and public relations efforts.

A Portland resident, Knickerbocker is a 2001 graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Penn. The captain of his college baseball team, he also served on the yearbook staff, the Senior Committee and belonged to the Public Relations Student Society of America.

A native of Hampden, Maine, Knickerbocker is a graduate of Hampden Academy. He also is a fitness enthusiast and will compete in his first bodybuilding competition later this year.
