PROVIDENCE, R.I. (April 2, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Christopher A. Vedro as Vice President – Portfolio Manager in Commercial Lending in Providence, R.I. He is responsible for the underwriting and ongoing supervision of a portfolio of regional commercial loans, including maintenance of credit standards, industry analysis and risk management.Vedro has 12 years of experience in banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Senior Credit Associate in the Natural Resources Group at Bank of America in Boston.
A resident of Swansea, Mass., Vedro is a 1998 graduate of Brown University and in 2004 received an MBA and an MSF from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. He is a native of Bristol, R.I., where he graduated from Mt. Hope High School in 1994.
