CHARLESTON, S.C. (January 13, 2012) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Cynthia Mayer as Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer in Charleston, S.C. She is responsible for providing a range of lending services to middle-market companies and not-for-profit organizations throughout the Charleston region.

Mayer has 27 years of experience in commercial banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, she owned a consulting firm, Papillon Consulting, in Milford, Mich. Her career also has included senior-level positions at Michigan Heritage Bank, Key Bank and Citizens Bank in Michigan.

A resident of Charleston, Mayer received an MBA from the University of Detroit and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
