Daniel Hires Joins TD Bank as Regional Vice President in Commercial Banking for Florida’s Palm Beach County Region

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 25, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Daniel F. Hires, the Regional Vice President in Commercial Banking for Palm Beach County, Florida. Based in West Palm Beach, he is responsible for leading TD Bank in this market, including overseeing commercial banking, small business banking and related products and services at the 22 TD Bank locations throughout Palm Beach County.

Hires has more than 40 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a SVP/Senior Credit Manager at First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. of North Carolina, and a SVP/Senior Lending Officer at Sun American Bank, both in Boca Raton, Fla.

A resident of Jupiter, Fla., Hires has served as Director and Treasurer of the Oceanside Terrace Condominium Association. He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware.
