He is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout an area that includes Hollywood, Pembroke Park and Dania Beach.

Istrate has almost eight years of retail banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Vice President, Branch Manager at SunTrust Bank in Bal Harbour, Fla.

A resident of Dania Beach, Istrate is a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Davie.
