Danny Smith Joins TD Bank as Senior Loan Officer in Healthcare Finance for Florida and Georgia

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (November 10, 2014) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Daniel L. ‘Danny’ Smith as Vice President, Senior Loan Officer in Healthcare Finance, based in West Palm Beach, Fla. He is responsible for growing and managing a portfolio comprised of healthcare clients, primarily acute care hospitals across Florida and Georgia.

Smith has 29 years of experience in banking, lending and healthcare finance. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Regional Corporate Banker at BB&T Corp. in Macon, managing healthcare, corporate and middle market relationships over his 15-year tenure. Smith is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

A resident of Macon,  Smith is active in community activities and has served on many non-profit boards over his years in the business community. He is a Diaconate member at First Presbyterian Church, and is the Past Chairman on the Board of Trustees at First Presbyterian Day School, both in Macon. Smith is a 1985 graduate of Mercer University and in 1996 completed the Graduate School of Banking program at Louisiana State University.
