Ernesto Semedo Named Vice President at TD Bank in Philadelphia

Ernesto B. Semedo has joined TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, as Vice President/Foreign Exchange Sales in Philadelphia. He is responsible for sales and marketing of foreign exchange products to commercial and retail clients in Northern and Central New Jersey.
Semedo has 14 years of experience in banking and global markets. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Vice President in ecommerce sales at Deutsche Bank in New York. His career also includes stints at IRBA International in Tokyo and at Bank of America, formerly Fleet Boston Financial, in Boston. Semedo is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Semedo is re-locating to the Philadelphia area from Brockton, Mass. He received an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2006, and an undergraduate degree in Economics and International Relations from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., in 1996. Semedo is a 1992 graduate of Brockton High School.
