BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (January 18, 2012) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Eugene (Gene) A. Leary as Senior Business Development Officer in Asset Based Lending. Based in Bridgeport, Conn., he is responsible for developing new and expanding existing ABL relationships in the New England and Upstate New York market.

Leary has more than 20 years of experience in asset based and leveraged lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he worked at GE Capital in Norwalk, Conn., Citibank in New York, N.Y., and Royal Bank of Scotland in Stamford, Conn.

A resident of Trumbull, Conn., Leary received an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York City, studied honors economics at McGill University in Montreal and received an undergraduate degree at State University of New York in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
