George Gnad Joins TD Bank as Senior Vice President in Commercial Real Estate in New York City

NEW YORK CITY (March 25, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named George S. Gnad as Senior Vice President in Commercial Real Estate in New York, N.Y. He will lead a team of two relationship managers to develop and close commercial mortgages and provide a complete array of TD Bank products to business clients throughout the NYC Metro region.

Gnad has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as Head of U.S. Real Estate at Munich-based German lender BayernLB, where he oversaw a $3 billion real estate portfolio. Gnad serves on the Board of the Real Estate Lenders Association (RELA), a leading networking and educational association for real estate lenders in the U.S.

A Boonton Township, N.J., resident, Gnad volunteers as a board member of Push to Walk in Riverdale, N.J., a rehab center for people recovering from spinal cord injuries. He received an MBA in 1990 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J., and an undergraduate degree in 1986 from Baruch College (CUNY). Gnad is a native of Brooklyn and attended James Madison High School.
