George Hall Joins TD Bank as Regional Vice President for Tampa Bay Region

TAMPA, Fla. (April 24, 2013) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named George J. Hall as Regional Vice President for the Tampa Bay region. Based in Tampa, he is responsible for overseeing commercial lending, small business banking and related products and services provided to customers at TD Bank’s 17 retail stores across a region that includes Manatee, Sarasota, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

Hall has 30 years of experience in banking and finance, including many years in executive leadership positions. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Senior Commercial Banking Executive at Synovus Bank in Tampa, and before that as President of Florida banking at Superior Bank, also in Tampa. Hall’s banking career also has included senior management positions at banks in Alabama, New Mexico and New Hampshire.

Hall is involved with a wide range of professional organizations, including the American Bankers Association (ABA), Community Banking Professionals of the Southeast, Corporate Banking Professionals, Florida Banking Group, Risk Management Association (RMA) and the Tampa Bay Business Network. He also is a member of the 3^rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and the University of Connecticut Alumni Networking Group.

A resident of Palm Harbor, Fla., Hall volunteers in his community as a coach for Little League baseball and Club soccer. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, and a 1975 graduate of Austin Preparatory School in Reading, Mass.
