LOS ANGELES (July 28, 2010) – Academy Award-winning cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle used custom equipment, accessories, leading-edge cameras and expertise provided by HD Camera Rentals (www.hdcamerarentals.com) for the filming of the upcoming movie, 127 Hours.
Mantle, who won the Academy Award for his cinematography on Slumdog Millionaire, shot the film on location in Utah earlier this year.

Director Danny Boyle’s first film since winning the Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours tells the true story of Aron Ralston, the mountain climber who had to amputate his own arm with a dull knife after a 2003 hiking accident.

Those who have attended early test screenings of the film described Mantle’s cinematography as “beautiful” and “inventive.”
