Jack Lennon Joins TD Insurance, Inc. as Vice President in the Commercial Insurance Division’s Healthcare Practice Team in Boston and Hyannis, Mass.

BOSTON (September 13, 2010) – John (Jack) Lennon has joined TD Insurance, Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, as a Vice President in the Commercial Insurance Division’s Healthcare Practice Team. From offices in Boston and Hyannis, Mass., he will address the commercial insurance, risk management and alternative risk transfer needs of healthcare facilities and large physician practice groups throughout the TD Bank footprint, Maine to Florida.
Lennon has 20 years of experience in commercial insurance, alternative risk transfer and captive management. Prior to joining TD Insurance, he served as SVP Sales and Regional Practice Leader at Gallagher Risk Management Services, where he established a regional healthcare practice for that firm in the New England area. He also has served in executive positions with the nation’s leading insurance brokerage and consulting firms, including Wells
Fargo Insurance Services, Willis North America and Aon.

Lennon also brings expertise in a risk management specialty niche - Trade Credit and Political Risk insurance. His experience includes working with both domestic and international insurers who underwrite this much needed and increasingly required risk transfer and mitigation tool. With access to all of the major underwriters, he has placed coverage for a wide range of clients, including, manufacturers, distributors, importers and exporters. As the economy has struggled over the last few years, the need for Trade Credit Insurance has become more acute.

Lennon is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE), the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), and the Health Care Financial Manager’s Association (HFMA). He is also a member of the National Association of Credit Management.

A resident of Bourne, Mass., Lennon received a Master’s in Health Care Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
