BATH, Maine - Jeremy H. Burden, D.D.S., has joined his father, I. Benjamin Young, D.D.S, P.A., in the family's longtime dental practice at 24 Oak Street in Bath. He will provide personalized dental care for patients of all ages in Bath, Brunswick and throughout the mid-coast region.

Dr. Young, a well-known local dentist, began a solo practice in Bath in 1969. His wife and Dr. Burden's mother, Charlotte Young, is a dental hygienist at the practice. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"I became interested in the practice of dentistry through my father and it became a dream of mine to someday join him," Dr. Burden said. "That time has come, and I look forward to building a practice here in Bath alongside Dr. Young. I think we make a pretty good team."

Dr. Burden and his wife, Lidija, live in Bath. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Calif., the same school where his father earned his dental degree. He received an undergraduate degree in 1997 from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich. A Pownal native, Dr. Burden is a 1993 graduate of Pine Tree Academy in Freeport.

Dr. Burden is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
