Jim Weite, Jr., Joins TD Bank as Regional Vice President in Commercial Banking for Florida’s Northeast Region

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 6, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named James (Jim) E. Weite, Jr., the Regional Vice President in Commercial Banking for Volusia and Flagler counties. He will be located in Daytona Beach, Fla., and is responsible for leading TD Bank in this market, including overseeing commercial banking, small business banking and related products and services at the 13 TD Bank locations throughout Volusia and Flagler counties.

Weite has 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as Executive Director of the Florida Hospital Memorial Foundation following an 11-year stint at RBC Bank and Cypress Coquina Bank that included serving as Market President for northeast Florida.

A resident of Ormond Beach, Fla., since 1983, Weite is a member and Past President of both the Ormond Beach Rotary Club and Oceanside Country Club. He is a 1986 graduate of Stetson University in DeLand, Fla., and a 1995 graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
