Joanie Monteith Named Store Manager at TD Bank in Kennebunk, Maine

KENNEBUNK, Maine (June 7, 2013) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has promoted Joanie A. Monteith to Store Manager of the Kennebunk store located at 56 Portland Road in Kennebunk, Maine. She is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the area.

Monteith has 10 years of banking experience. She joined TD Bank in 2008 as an Assistant Store Manager in York, her most recent position. Monteith was nominated by TD Bank in 2012 for the CEO Leadership Award and to participate in the Emerging Leader’s panel. She also will serve on the bank’s Women in Leadership Subcommittee, called TD Women Taking the Lead. In addition to her banking career, Monteith has owned two successful small businesses in southern Maine and Seacoast N.H. She is a member of BNI.

A York resident, Monteith volunteers with United Way as well the Town of York’s school system and its parks and recreation department. She is a 1992 summa cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Monteith is originally from Lynn, Mass., where she graduated from Lynn Classical High School.
