Joe McFadden Joins TD Bank as Senior Vice President in the Consumer Bank in Mt. Laurel, N.J.

MT. LAUREL, N.J. (November 7, 2014) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Joseph J. McFadden as Senior Vice President, Executive Data Steward in the Consumer Bank, based in Mt. Laurel, N.J. He is responsible for leading the implementation of the Enterprise Data Strategy for the Consumer Bank, coordinating data strategy and data governance activities, and for building analytical capabilities to support improved business decisions.

A highly-experienced information technology executive, McFadden has 25 years in banking, business and technology management. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as Senior Director in the Enterprise Growth Division at American Express, where he led the implementation of its next-generation digital wallet and payment service platforms across China. Before that, McFadden worked with other large financial organizations, including Capital One, where he led the delivery of its enterprise bank data warehouse.

McFadden, who has advised U.S. Senators and Representatives on Information Technology (IT) issues, has authored a book on implementing Agile development and management practices in large and well-regulated corporations. He holds Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) professional certifications.

A resident of Richmond, Va., McFadden remains an active board member for a non-profit charity organization in his community benefiting people with intellectual disabilities. He is a 1987 graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
