NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (September 13, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has promoted Juan H. Oelofse to Vice President - Commercial Lending for New York’s Lower Hudson Valley. A Relationship Manager based in New Windsor, N.Y., he will continue to be responsible for developing, managing, underwriting and maintaining a portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loans in a region that includes Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess counties.

Oelofse has 18 years of experience in banking and lending. He joined TD Bank in 2006 as a Commercial Loan Officer in Mahwah, N.J. Before that, he served as a Senior Business Development Officer at Valley National Bank in Paramus, N.J., and a Commercial Relationship Manager at Citibank in N.Y and N.J., where he completed formal credit training.

A resident of Chester, N.Y., Oelofse is a 1994 graduate of the University of Johannesburg in Johannesburg, South Africa.
