Maine State Ballet will hold open auditions for area ballet students interested in dancing in this holiday season's performances of The Nutcracker. Auditions will take place on September 4 and September 5 at the Maine State School for the Performing Arts, 91 Forest Street in Westbrook.

Thursday, September 4
Ages 7-9 4:00-5:00pm
Ages 10-12 5:30-6:30pm

Friday, September 5
Ages 13-15 4:00-5:00pm
Ages 16 + 5:30-6:30pm

The press is welcome to attend the auditions to view this seasonŐs dancers.

The audition fee is $5.00. Maine State BalletŐs Nutcracker will be performed on two weekends, November 29 & 30 and December 5, 6 & 7, at Merrill Auditorium. For more information, call (207) 856-1662 or visit www.mainestateballet.org.
