Martin's Point Health Care continues to provide a monthly weight management Support Group in the Moser Building on the main campus at 331 Veranda Street in Portland. The sessions will be held 6 to 7 p.m. on July 21, Aug. 18 and Sept. 15.

Weighty Issues focuses on the psychosocial aspects of eating and the connection between food and emotions. The topics for this series are “Self-Care in Vacationland,” “Natural Ways to Relax,” and “Reaffirming Your Needs/Wants.”

All sessions are open to the public and people of all sizes are welcome. Confidentiality is also honored. The program will be facilitated by Joyce Sarat White, MA, LPC.
