Peter J. Gill has joined Martin's Point Health Care as the new Practice Operating Officer for the Medical Division of the practices.

With 20 years experience in healthcare management, Gill brings a variety of demonstrated skills, capabilities and accomplishments to the new position. He most recently served for two years as the interim Vice President of Medical Center Operations with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Mid-Atlantic Region.

"Peter is an experienced healthcare manager with a depth of knowledge that will enhance the development of systems already in place geared toward the ever-changing healthcare environment at MartinŐs Point," said Steven Hess, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at MartinŐs Point. A native of New Hampshire and currently commuting from Connecticut, Gill is the former Vice President of Health Center Operations of Northeast Permanente Medical Group. He received an undergraduate degree from Suffolk University in Boston and a master's in business administration from Babson College. Gill attended graduate school at the University of Connecticut's Executive Program in Managed Care and Stanford University's Kaiser Permanente Executive Program. He also served on the Board of Directors for Valley Health Plan, Inc. in Massachusetts for 11 years.
