Martin’s Point Expands in Dover-Foxcroft

Effective June 1, Maine residents eligible for military health benefits, called TRICARE, and living in the Dover-Foxcroft area, will have significantly expanded options for their health care through Martin’s Point’s US Family Health Plan.

Martin’s Point is excited to announce the addition of 14 newly contracted and credentialed primary care providers and specialists. The US Family Health Plan at Martin’s Point is a TRICARE Prime provider, as designated by the Department of Defense for Maine, New Hampshire, northeastern New York and Vermont. This beneficiary option is for military retirees, their dependents, and families of active duty personnel. Eligibility includes retirees of the National Guard and the Reserve who have reached 60 years of age, as well as their families, and family members of active Guard/Reserve.

Martin’s Point already has close to 200 members in the Dover-Foxcroft area. Now they and many hundreds of other beneficiaries have new, closer to home options, including the Mayo Regional Hospital.
