Matthew H. Jacobs has joined Bernstein Shur's Business Law Practice Group in Manchester, New Hampshire. He will represent clients in general and complex corporate matters and commercial real estate transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Jacobs was employed as an in-house corporate attorney with Standex International Corporation, a publicly traded multi-national holding company, focusing on mergers/acquisitions and divestitures, intellectual property matters, and general commercial transactions.
Jacobs also has worked with other high-tech companies in New Hampshire with a primary focus on the protection and licensing of intellectual property.

A Hampton resident, Jacobs is a 1996 graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center where he was part of the Intellectual Property Summer Institute in 1994. He also received his MBA in 2000 from Plymouth State College and earned his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in 1992, graduating cum laude from University of New Hampshire.
