Matthew Stearns Named Store Manager at TD Bank in Glen, N.H.

Matthew I. Stearns has joined TD Bank, TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, as the Store Manager in the store located at 769 Route 16 in Glen, N.H. He is responsible for managing day-to-day operations at the location, and developing and overseeing small business loans, deposit accounts, consumer lending, investment and insurance services provided to customers throughout Carroll County, including Mount Washington Valley.
Stearns has 10 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he worked as a Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager at Citizens Bank.

An East Wakefield resident, Stearns volunteers for the Mount Washington Observatory by providing assistance to the observatory crew for one week each year. He hikes up and down each time – and in fact has never reached the top of Mount Washington any other way than on foot.

Stearns graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in Durham with an anthropology degree, and also holds an associate’s degree from New Hampshire Community Technical College. A native of Canaan, N.H., he is a graduate of Mascoma Valley Regional High School.
