Michael Cooper Joins TD Bank as Vice President, Senior Lender in Middle Market Banking in Greenville, S.C.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 19, 2012) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Michael B. Cooper as Vice President, Senior Lender in Middle Market Lending in Greenville, S.C. He is responsible for managing and growing TD Bank’s diverse Middle Market client base in upstate South Carolina and its surrounding counties.

Cooper has nine years of experience in banking and finance. Prior to joining TD Bank, he worked for seven years as a Commercial Relationship Manager and Portfolio Manager at SunTrust Bank in Greenville. Cooper is a member of Risk Management Associates (RMA).

A Greenville resident, Cooper serves on the board of the Metropolitan Arts Council, chairs the Money Smart Committee for the Rotary Club of Greenville, and serves on the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greenville (Class 38).

Cooper, who volunteers with Junior Achievement of Greenville and United Way of Greenville, is a 2002 graduate of Clemson University.
