John Cormier Named Vice President at Peoples



John B. Cormier has been promoted to vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. He will continue to manage business development and sales, including small business lending, at the Falmouth banking center.

A resident of Westbrook, Cormier joined Peoples in 1997 and has 10 years in banking. He previously has served as an assistant vice president at the Falmouth banking center and as the customer sales and service manager at the Peoples branch in Yarmouth.

Rebecca Hauk Named Vice President at Peoples



Rebecca L. Hauk has been promoted to vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. She will continue to manage business development, commercial lending, and day-to-day operations at the Peoples banking center in Biddeford.

Hauk joined Peoples in 1995 and has 15 years in banking. She previously has served as an assistant vice president in cash management sales.

A resident of Scarborough, Hauk is a member of the Rotary and is active in the Maine Children's Cancer Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She is a 1995 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and a 1981 graduate of Scarborough High School.

Cheryl Twitchell Named Assistant Vice President at Peoples



Cheryl A. Twitchell has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Cash Management Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland. She will continue to oversee the banking relationships of commercial customers in the York County region.

Twitchell joined Peoples in 2000 and has five years in banking. She previously has served as an officer.

A resident of Gorham, Twitchell is active in the United Way Day of Caring. Originally from Portland, she is a 1978 graduate of Portland High School.

Paul Tormey Promoted to Assistant Vice President at Peoples



Paul E. Tormey has been named an assistant vice president in the Cash Management Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Bangor. He will continue to assist corporate clients in treasury management and commercial banking at 77 Exchange Street.

Tormey joined Peoples in 1996. He previously served as a cash management officer, mortgage originator and branch manager at Peoples.

A resident of Orrington, Tormey volunteers as a reader for Maine A.I.R.S., a broadcast news service for the visually impaired. He also serves in the U.S. Army Reserve in Bangor. Tormey is a 1989 graduate of the University of Hartford in Hartford, Conn.

Donna Hancock Named Vice President at Peoples


Donna W. Hancock has been named a vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. She will continue to manage business development, small business lending and overall banking operations in her role as business development and sales manager at the Peoples banking center in the Brunswick Hannaford.

Hancock has been with Peoples for 12 years and has 19 years in banking. She has previously served as an assistant manager, head teller and teller at Peoples, and as a branch manager at another Maine bank. Hancock is a member of the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.

A resident of Mercer, Hancock volunteers as a coordinator for United Way, a committee member for the March of Dimes, an assistant field hockey coach in the Skowhegan Rec Department and a softball coach in the Smithfield Rec Department. She is a 1993 graduate of Husson College in Bangor. Originally from Jay, Hancock is a 1982 graduate of Jay High School.

Jennifer Henderson Named Assistant Vice President at Peoples


Jennifer L. Henderson has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Commercial Lending Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Bangor. In her role as a commercial portfolio officer, she will continue to be responsible for underwriting, compliance and commercial portfolio management for customers in a five-county region in central and Down East Maine.

Henderson joined Peoples in 2000. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and holds an associate broker real estate license.

A resident of Bangor, Henderson volunteers as a board member of the Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross. She is a 1994 graduate of Thomas College in Waterville and is presently completing an MBA at Husson College in Bangor. Originally from Bridgewater, Henderson is a 1991 graduate of Central Aroostook High School.

Suzanne S. Tremble has been promoted to an assistant vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. She will continue to manage business development and sales at the Peoples banking center in the Standish Hannaford.

Tremble joined Peoples in 2002. She is a member of the Standish Business Association and the Gorham Civic and Business Exchange.

A resident of Standish, Tremble volunteers with the United Way and the March of Dimes. She is a 1995 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono and is presently pursuing an MBA at the University of Southern Maine. Originally from Bangor, she is a 1991 graduate of Bangor High School.

Kerry Johnston Promoted to Vice President at Peoples


Kerry M. Johnston has been named a vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. She will continue to manage business development, small business lending and overall banking operations in her role as business development and sales manager at the Peoples banking center in York.

Johnston joined Peoples in 1997 and has 10 years in banking. She previously served as an assistant vice president at Peoples and as a sales and service coordinator, branch manager and assistant branch manager with other Maine banks.

A resident of York, Johnston serves as chair of the United Way Day of Caring and also volunteers with Junior Achievement, the Strike Out Cancer in Kids Fundraiser and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Fundraiser. She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono.

Matthew LaPierre Named Assistant Vice President at Peoples


Matthew S. LaPierre has been promoted to assistant vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. He will continue to manage the bank's Credit Department, located at One Portland Square in Portland.

LaPierre joined Peoples in 1995 and has eight years in banking. He has previously served as a senior analyst and a commercial and industrial team leader. LaPierre is a member of the Risk Management Association.

A resident of Portland, LaPierre received a graduate degree in 1993 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an undergraduate degree in 1990 from Colby College. Originally from Waterville, he is a 1986 graduate of Waterville High School.

Christine Bosse Named Assistant Vice President at Peoples


Christine M. Bosse has been named assistant vice president in the Private Banking Group at Peoples Heritage Bank in Lewiston. She will continue to be responsible for managing the banking needs for professional and executive clients at Peoples.

Bosse joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1987 and has previously served as a retail customer service specialist. She joined the bankÕs Private Banking Group in 1999. A member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, Bosse has completed several courses through the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.

A resident of Sabattus, Bosse is a volunteer at Holy Cross school, Advocates for Children, local hospitals, Daryeelka, and participates in the American Heartwalk. Originally from Lewiston, she is a 1986 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School. Bosse is currently attending the University of Southern Maine in Lewiston.
