Peoples Heritage Bank Staff Promotions & Hires, Winter 2001

Peoples Heritage is Maine's leading bank with 69 branches throughout the state, five of which operate as Oxford Bank & Trust, a division of the bank.

The following are capsules about recent promoted employees:

LUCIE AUCOIN-HANNIGAN NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES

Lucie J. AuCoin-Hannigan has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Cash Management Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland. She will continue to present, implement and support a full line of commercial cash management products and services for customers from Yarmouth south to Sanford, Saco-Biddeford and Kittery.

AuCoin-Hannigan joined Peoples Heritage in 1995 and has seven years in banking. She has previously served as a customer service representative, an administrative assistant, a sales specialist and on the technical support staff. AuCoin-Hannigan is member of the Association for Financial Professionals.

A resident of Portland, AuCoin-Hannigan is active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and is a member of the Steering Committee for the United Way Day of Caring. Originally from Standish, she is a 1991 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and a 1986 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School.

CATHY BOND PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Cathy L. Bond has been promoted to vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. She will continue to manage daily operations at the Fairfield banking center in her role as Business Development and Sales Manager.

Bond joined Peoples in 1991 and has previously served as an assistant vice president, an assistant branch manager, a customer service representative and a teller. She has 12 years in banking.

A resident of Winslow, Bond is a member of the Oakland Lions Club and volunteers on the Fairfield Economic Development Corp and Inside Out Playground. Originally from Brewer, she is a 1979 graduate of Brewer High School.

CHRISTINE BOSSE NAMED PRIVATE BANKING RELATIONSHIP MANAGER AT PEOPLES

Christine M. Bosse has been named a relationship manager in the Private Banking Group at Peoples Heritage Bank in Lewiston. She is now responsible for managing the banking needs for professional and executive clients at Peoples.

Bosse joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1987 and has previously served as a retail customer service specialist. She joined the bank's Private Banking Group in 1999. A member of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, Bosse has completed several courses through the American Institute of Banking.

A resident of Sabattus, Bosse is a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club, Holy Cross School and Advocates for Children, and serves as a Boy Scout leader and an assistant basketball coach of a youth team. Originally from Lewiston, she is a 1986 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School. Bosse is currently attending the University of Southern Maine in Lewiston.

ALLEN CAMPBELL PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Allen L. Campbell has been promoted to assistant vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. He will continue to manage daily operations at the 77 Exchange Street branch in Bangor in his role as business development and sales manager.

Campbell, who has 12 years in banking, joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1994 and previously served as a branch manager and a mortgage loan officer. He is a notary public.

A resident of Brewer, Campbell is a member of the Brewer Planning Board and serves as a board member for Child Development Services and for the Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross. He attended Penn State University.

EMILY CLARK PROMOTED TO OFFICER AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Emily R. Clark has been promoted to officer in the Property Management Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in South Portland. As senior facilities administrator, she will continue to act as project manager for renovations, review bid documents, negotiate and develop leases, select contractors, and conduct site inspections.

Clark, who joined Peoples Heritage in 1997, has previously served as a facilities administrator and an administrative assistant.

A resident of Standish, Clark is a 1998 graduate of Casco Bay College and a 1976 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School in Standish.

KIMBERLY DONNELLY PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES

Kimberly A. Donnelly has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Commercial Services Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland. She will continue to analyze, monitor and service a large portfolio of existing commercial loans.

Donnelly joined Peoples Heritage in 1996 and has previously served as a senior credit analyst.

A resident of Windham, Donnelly is a volunteer with the March of Dimes and United Way campaigns and serves as a Sunday school teacher at the North Windham Union Church, where she is a member. She is a 1992 graduate of the University of Southern Maine in Portland and a 1987 graduate of Windham High School.

LAURA FOYE JOINS PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Laura C. Foye has joined Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland as a vice president in the Corporate Banking Department. In her new role, she will be responsible for commercial lending and business development.

Foye, who has 25 years in banking, joins Peoples after serving for the past 13 years at another Maine bank, where she held various supervisory positions.

A resident of Cape Elizabeth, Foye serves as a board member for the Greater Portland Chambers of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Maine, the Maine Investment Exchange, and the Portland Concert Association. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and South Portland High School.

DAVID JAMISON PROMOTED TO OFFICER AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

David J. Jamison has been promoted to officer in the Cash Management Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland. He will continue to maintain and service cash management clients in his role as a cash management representative.

Jamison joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1994 and previously has served as a branch manager.

A resident of West Gardiner, Jamison is a 1992 graduate of Gardiner Area High School.

ELEANOR LEBLOND PROMOTED TO OFFICER AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Eleanor L. Leblond has been promoted to officer in the Branch Operations Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Portland. She will continue to provide operational support to the company's banking centers throughout Maine in her role as a branch operations specialist.

Leblond joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1986 and has previously served as a data security administrator at the bank.

A resident of Scarborough, Leblond attended Westbrook College. A native of Leeds, she is a graduate of Leavitt High School.

PHIL MARTIN NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Phillip L. Martin has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Commercial Lending Department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Bangor. He will continue to develop new commercial loan business, manage ongoing customer relationships and manage loan portfolio risk.

Martin joined Peoples Heritage in 1996 and has eight years in banking. He has previously served as a commercial credit analyst, regulatory accountant and assistant financial analyst at Peoples, and before that as a foreign exchange manager and a corporate foreign exchange trader at banks outside Maine.

A resident of Bangor, Martin received an MBA in International Finance in 1993 from Northeastern University in Boston, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 1989 from the University of Indianapolis in Indiana.

DANIEL NICHOLS PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Daniel A. Nichols has been promoted to vice president at Peoples Heritage Bank. He will continue to manage daily operations in the banking center at 101 Western Avenue in Augusta in his role as business development and sales manager.

Nichols joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1998 and has more than 20 years in banking. He formerly served as an assistant vice president at Peoples and as the chief lending officer at another Maine bank. Nichols is a member of the Northern New England American Institute of Banking Council and the Southern Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors. He serves on the education and collection committees with the Maine Association of Community Banks.

A resident of Augusta, Nichols serves as the vice president and board member at the Kennebec Valley YMCA, and is the vice chairman and commissioner at the Augusta Housing Authority. Nichols is a graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta and a 1982 graduate of the Williams College School of Banking in Williamstown, Mass.

JASON NORTON PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLES HERITAGE BANK

Jason G. Norton has been promoted to vice president at the Peoples Heritage Bank located in the Shaw's Supermarket in Brunswick. He will continue to manage small business lending and retail lending, and oversee daily operations at the full service banking center, which is located in the Merrymeeting Shopping Center on Bath Road at Cook's Corner.

Norton, who has 10 years in banking, joined Peoples Heritage Bank in early 1997, and was named manager of the Shaw's banking center when it opened in October of 1997. He is active in the Peoples Heritage Small Business Foundations and is a member of the New England School of Banking.

A resident of Topsham and a native of Auburn, Norton is a United Way volunteer and serves as the treasurer of the MidCoast Symphony Orchestra and as an instructor with Junior Achievement.

NANCY WENTWORTH PROMOTED TO CUSTOMER SALES AND SERVICE MANAGER AT PEOPLES

Nancy E. Wentworth has been promoted to customer sales and service manager in the Sanford branch of Peoples Heritage Bank. In her new role, she will serve as the primary mortgage lender and oversee the operations of the branch, located at 931 Main Street in Sanford. Wentworth also is a member of the peer internal audit group.

Wentworth joined Peoples Heritage Bank in 1980 and has previously served as a teller, branch assistant, and customer service representative.

A native and resident of Sanford, Wentworth is a 1967 graduate of Sanford high School.
