Peter J. Rubin of Scarborough has been named to The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America list, a prestigious guide to lawyers in the U.S. A noted litigator, he was the only attorney in Maine named to the recently released list.
In addition, two other Bernstein Shur attorneys - Charles E. Miller and Nathan H. Smith, both of Portland - were finalists. Miller and Smith are both leading Maine real estate attorneys.

Rubin is the senior member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and concentrates his practice on complex cases involving product liability, business litigation, malpractice, and personal injury claims.

A Maine native, Rubin joined Bernstein Shur in 1971. He is a 1970 magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a 1967 graduate of Duke University. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for more than 20 years, and he is listed in 12 different areas, including business litigation, personal injury litigation, construction law, and mass tort litigation.
