Robert Daigle Joins Stratex as Environmental Consultant

Robert A. Daigle has joined Stratex, LLC, a Portland-based strategic, environmental technology consulting firm, as an environmental consultant.

In his new role, Daigle, a professional engineer who currently serves as a State Representative from Arundel, will manage environmental regulatory projects, oversee other subcontracted consultants and provide strategic and technical analysis on environmental permitting and other issues.

Stratex, LLC, is associated with the statewide law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson. The company provides technical expertise and project development for established and start-up companies and municipal and governmental clients in need of cooperative buying and technical, engineering, regulatory and facility planning. Daigle will work with Robert G. Gerber, executive director of Stratex, in the company's environmental consulting branch, emphasizing management system development and innovative permitting.

Before joining Stratex, Daigle worked as an environmental manager with CYRO Industries in Sanford. He also served for six years as the chair of Maine's Pollution Prevention Advisory Committee. Daigle is a State Representative for House District 13, which includes Arundel, Lyman and part of Hollis. In the Legislature, he serves on the Joint Standing Committee on Natural Resources.

Daigle is a registered professional engineer in Maine and Illinois. He graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 1975 with a degree in civil engineering. Originally from Portland, Daigle is a 1971 graduate of Portland High School.

Stratex, LLC, located at 100 Middle Street in Portland, provides municipalities and private businesses with technical, engineering and development services for existing and new projects, including energy, utility, electric, hydro, telecommunications, intellectual property and real estate development.
