Robert Poudrier Joins TD Insurance, Inc. as Vice President and National Construction Practice Group Leader

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (September 22, 2010) – Robert A. Poudrier, CPCU, has joined TD Insurance, Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, as Vice President and National Construction Practice Group Leader. From offices in Wethersfield, Conn., he will manage the growth of the agency's construction practice throughout the TD Bank footprint, Maine to Florida.
Robert A. Poudrier, a Vice President and National Construction Practice Group Leader at TD Insurance in Wethersfield, Conn. Poudrier joins TD Insurance with more than 25 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance consulting and traditional brokerage services. He most recently served as Area Chairman for the New England and New York regions of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., where he developed and expanded the brokerage and consulting services offered in that region. Poudrier is also the former President and Owner of Central Valley Insurance Services, Inc., an independent insurance agency he built and which specialized in risk management services for middle market businesses. He also served as General Manager for Boccaccio & Susanin, Inc., developing risk management programs for the construction industry working in conjunction with their surety operations.

A resident of East Granby, Conn., Poudrier is a graduate of Northeastern University and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Central Connecticut University and the University of Hartford. He is a Charter Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and has served as an instructor for CPCU course work and designations at the University of Connecticut.
