The law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson is hosting a half-day seminar next month that will focus on legal issues in Maine employment law. The program will provide business executives and human resource managers with an overview of recent changes in employment law, as well as address topics such as military reserve leave, employee terminations, harassment claims, the Family Medical Leave Act, and non-compete and confidentiality agreements.

The seminar - being offered twice for convenience - will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, December 4, and Wednesday, December 5, at Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson in Portland. Although the seminar is primarily for clients of the firm, limited space may still be available for other interested persons.
