TAMARAC, Fla. (September 28, 2013) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Shamonia A. Wimberly as Assistant Vice President, Store Manager of the Tamarac store located at 7001 West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac, Fla. She is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers in Broward County.

Wimberly has more than 14 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, she served as a Branch Manager at both SunTrust Bank in Parkland, Fla. and Bank of America in Broward County. Wimberly is a member of the Tamarac Chamber of Commerce, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the National Youth Sports League and is a Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry Partner.

A Tamarac resident, Wimberly volunteers as a mentor of the KAPOW Educational Program and is involved in the Broward County School Board Volunteer & Mentoring Program. She is a 1992 graduate of Grambling State University and a 1988 graduate of Boyd Anderson High School in Fort Lauderdale.
