Lightweight and Affordable Gemini 4:4:4 ARRIRAW Recorder Available at Radiant Images

The new Gemini 4:4:4 ARRIRAW recorder is considered the industry’s smallest, lightest weight and highest quality uncompressed video recorder. But the best part? The Gemini system allows filmmakers to create the ultimate in HD and now ARRIRAW at a fraction and size of other ARRIRAW recorders.

The Gemini 4:4:4 combines a small, 5” LCD touch screen monitor (smaller than the TVLogic 5.6” monitor!) with an uncompressed HD recorder. The recorder supports HD-SDI, Dual Link and 3G-SDI Inputs and records to one or two 1.8” solid state hard drives.

Manufactured by Convergent Designs, the Gemini 4:4:4 ARRIRAW’s uncompressed recording can easily be incorporated into virtually any workflow using a favorite CODEC.

LOS ANGELES (June 1, 2012) – Syrous D. Nabatian, an experienced rental manager and digital camera technology expert, has been named General Manager at Radiant Images, the company announced Friday.

Well known in the industry, Nabatian will oversee and supervise rental operations and technical support at Radiant Images (www.radiantimages.com), a leading LA-based rental house and digital cinema innovator.

Nabatian has more than 20 years of professional experience in rental house management and camera technology. He previously has served as Director of Operations at S.two Corp., Operations Manager at Dalsa Digital Cinema, and Lead Service Technician at Panavision, where he served as the primary technical liaison for clients in the service department.
