TD Bank Names Brian Lewald VP – Commercial Lending in Community Banking in Calverton, Md.

CALVERTON, Md. (September 2, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Brian J. Lewald as Vice President - Commercial Lending in Community Banking in Calverton, Md. He is responsible for building and managing a portfolio of commercial loans as well as administrative lending matters, credit administration and risk management, serving clients throughout a region that includes Metro Washington D.C. and Maryland.

Mr. Lewald has seven years of experience in banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a VP-Business Banker at Capital One in Washington, D.C., and an AVP-Commercial Relationship Manager at SunTrust Bank in Rockville, Md. Mr. Lewald is a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Maryland Tech Council and Maryland Bankers Association.

A resident of Bethesda, Md., Mr. Lewald is a graduate of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He is a native of Darnestown, Md., where he graduated from Quince Orchard High School in 1999.
