WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 1, 2010) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Donna Grigsby as Community Development Manager for the Metro Washington, D.C., region. In her new role, Grigsby will manage TD Bank's community development activity with various community-based organizations located in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.

"We're thrilled that Donna is joining the TD Bank team," said Dennis Lagueux, TD Bank's Community Development Group Manager. "As a veteran leader, she'll ensure that we're developing and maintaining business relationships with local organizations that are supporting the communities across TD Bank's Metro D.C footprint."

No stranger to community development in Washington, D.C., Grigsby has over 20 years of banking and community lending experience. In her most recent position, Grigsby served as the Executive Director of the Washington Area Community Investment Fund Inc. (WACIF) in D.C. Prior to WACIF, Grigsby served as the Vice President of Community First Inc. in D.C., as a Commercial Mortgage Executive at First Maryland Mortgage Corporation in Maryland, and as a Relationship Manager at NationsBank N.A. in D.C.

Grigsby received her bachelor's degree and her Certificate for Procurement and Public Contracting from the University of the District of Columbia. Grigsby also graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C., with her master's degree in public administration.
