TD Bank Names Martin Melilli Regional Vice President for Commercial Lending in Union/East Essex Region of New Jersey

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 18, 2010) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Martin P. Melilli the Regional Vice President for Commercial Lending in Piscataway, N.J. He is responsible for managing a commercial banking team serving customers throughout the Union and East Essex region of northeastern New Jersey.
Melilli has 21 years of experience in banking, commercial lending and credit administration, with many years in senior management positions. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as President of The Bank of Princeton in Princeton, N.J., where he propelled the de novo bank to profitability in just under two years. He also served as First Vice President in Commercial Lending at Synergy Federal Savings Bank in Cranford, N.J., and as Regional Manager of Summit Bank/Fleet Bank, also in Cranford.

A resident of Basking Ridge, N.J., Melilli serves as Chairman of the Board of the Union County Economic Development Corporation (UCEDC), and on the Advisory Board of SCORE. He is a 1989 graduate of Seton Hall University and a 1985 graduate of Pequannock Township (N.J.) High School.
