TOMS RIVER, N.J. (April 1, 2011) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Matthew J. Schwing as Vice President – Credit Specialist in Commercial Loans in Toms River, N.J. He is responsible for assisting Commercial Relationship Managers by conducting in-depth financial analysis as part of loan requests for existing and potential customers throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Schwing has 26 years of experience in banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a Portfolio Manager at Sun National Bank in Wall, N.J.

A resident of Manahawkin, N.J., Schwing serves as a Board Trustee for the Southern Ocean County Medical Center Foundation. He is a 1982 graduate of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Pomona, and a 1978 graduate of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin.
