TD Bank Names Sheryl Simon Senior Lender for West Palm Beach Market in Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 27, 2014) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has promoted Sheryl Simon to Senior Lender, Vice President in Commercial Lending, based in West Palm Beach, Fla. She will oversee commercial banking functions including business development, asset quality and portfolio management, serving clients in the West Palm Beach market in south Florida.

Ms. Simon joined TD Bank in 2007 as a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer in Manhattan, N.Y.  She has 11 years of experience in banking and lending. Ms. Simon is a member of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Beach County Business Development Board. She is an active participant in many bank committees and in 2010 was recognized as a CEO Leadership Wow! Award recipient, as a result of her sales, service and community endeavors.

A Delray Beach resident, Ms. Simon has been civically active since her relocation to Florida. She was recently selected to join the 2014 class of Leadership Palm Beach and has joined the board of Neighborhood Renaissance, an affordable housing non-profit, to support its strategic and real estate planning efforts.

Ms. Simon earned bachelor’s degrees in both Finance and Political Science at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she distinguished herself as an Honors graduate. She spent most of her childhood in Coral Springs, Fla., where she graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
