Patricia Cloutier, James Carter, Ken Giaquinto and Ryan Caster Join

TD Banknorth Insurance Group has recently added four new employees – Patricia Cloutier, James Carter, Ken Giaquinto and Ryan Caster – who will provide a wide range of insurance products and services to customers throughout Maine.

Patricia L. Cloutier is an account manager for employee benefits lines, based at TD Banknorth Insurance Group in South Portland. She will provide a range of services to employee benefits clients across Maine.


Cloutier has 23 years of experience in the field of employee benefits for large insurance companies and agencies. She most recently served for seven years as an assistant vice president/employee benefits consultant at Marsh & McLennan Companies in Portland. She is certified as a C.P.I.W. and an A.A.I.

A Lewiston resident, Cloutier is a 1975 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School.


James C. Carter is serving as an inside sales representative. Based in South Portland, he will be responsible for selling insurance products to clients throughout the state.

A Portland resident, Carter formerly lived in Massachusetts, where he served as a relocation consultant and sales agent for a major real estate company, and also owned and operated a small business.


Kenneth P. Giaquinto has been named an Account Executive for employee benefits in South Portland.

In his new role, Giaquinto will develop business relationships throughout Maine for the company’s employee benefit lines, including medical, life, disability, dental and voluntary insurance plans.


Formerly an insurance specialist with Bancnorth Investment Group, Giaquinto has 25 years in the insurance industry and has extensive experience in life, disability and employee benefits. Before working for TD Banknorth, he held management positions with a number of companies, managed the sales program for student health insurance products and owned an agency that specialized in employee benefits plans.

He is certified as a resident producer of life and health insurance and is a registered agent with the NASD.

A resident of Portland, Giaquinto is a 1970 graduate of Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, Conn., and also received a master’s in science from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.


Ryan L. Caster is a private client insurance agent in the Personal Lines Department at TD Banknorth Insurance Group in South Portland.

In his new role as a retail producer, Caster will be responsible for managing relationships and providing a wide variety of products, such as homeowners, automobile and umbrella insurance, to fit the specialized needs of clients throughout Maine and New England.

Caster has almost seven years of experience in insurance and most recently served as an agent with a large national insurance firm in Connecticut. He holds an AIC designation and is a registered agent with the NASD.

A resident of Gorham, Caster recently relocated from Connecticut, where he served on the Advisory Board of the International Performing Arts Center in Bridgeport. He is a 1998 graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.
