NEW YORK, N.Y. (May 27, 2015) – TD Wealth^® Private Client Group has named Joseph T. Canevari as Relationship Manager in the Metro NYC and Long Island markets. TD Wealth Private Client Group provides clients with customized private banking and wealth management services through TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank^®, and its affiliates.

As a Relationship Manager, Canevari will provide high net worth clients with a custom wealth management experience leveraging TD Wealth's holistic client service model. Working with TD Wealth's Investment Advisors and Trust Advisors, Canevari will proactively manage and invest his clients' assets, and introduce them to the full range of wealth management solutions available to meet their specific financial objectives.

Canevari has 32 years of experience in wealth management, banking and senior-level business development. Prior to joining TD Wealth, he served as a SVP, Relationship Manager at HSBC Private Bank in New York, N.Y. Before that, Canevari worked at Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust as a New York Market Executive providing financial services to high net worth professionals.

A resident of Lake Grove, N.Y., Canevari is a former Board member of the Nassau County Museum of Art and is involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Long Island. He received an MBA (1990) and an undergraduate degree (1983) from Long Island University/C.W. Post.

Canevari grew up in Selden, N.Y., and graduated from Centereach High School.
