Three-day seminar series to be held Oct. 4, Nov. 8, Dec. 6

(PORTLAND, Maine) - TechVentures Group, LLC, a consulting affiliate of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, is co-hosting a three-part seminar series beginning Oct. 4 called "Growing Your IT Business With Sales, Not Venture Capital."

"The series is aimed at helping technology professionals develop a solid understanding of the business and legal issues related to generating revenue for their intellectual property assets," said attorney Jim Keenan, one of the seminar presenters.

The seminar series will be held on three different days throughout the fall. The first seminar (Oct. 4), 'Pre-Market Strategies,' will focus on how to effectively launch or re-launch a marketing campaign. John Farrell, the editor of Interface Tech News, will be a keynote speaker and will discuss implementing an effective media strategy. The second seminar (Nov. 8), "Customer Acquisition & Service," will focus on strategies for turning sales leads into customers. The third seminar (Dec. 6), "Continuing the Growth Curve," will focus on customer relationship management and support strategies. To close the seminar, Mark Tilly, co-founder and former CEO of I-Many, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNY), will discuss how to "Listen to Your Customers" to achieve continued growth.

This seminar series will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, 100 Middle St., 5th floor, in Portland. Reservations are now being taken, and seating is limited. The fee for the entire series is $99. To register, call 877-934-8453 or register online at http://www.acteva.com/go/portlandseminar.
