Thomas Terry Named Director of Support Services at Martin's Point

PORTLAND, Maine - Thomas E. Terry has been named director of support services in the Support Services Department at Martin's Point Health Care, Maine's largest primary care practice group.

Terry's responsibilities include overseeing material management, facilities, security, telecommunications, vendor contracting, space planning, construction, and external relationships with municipalities and planning boards. He also is responsible for standardizing support processes across the continuum of care, rationalizing facility cost, and determining the lowest delivered costs for goods and services.

Terry has 30 years experience in the resource and material management area of health care. He has formerly served as Director of Material Resources at Jordan Health Systems in Plymouth, Mass., and Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, N.Y. He also has served as a senior management consultant for Quorum Health Resources and Tiverton Associates. Terry is a member of the Association for Resource Management and the New England Society for Health Care Material Management.

A resident of Scarborough, Terry is active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He is a native of Glens Falls, N.Y.
