Timothy Duggan Joins TD Bank as Senior Vice President in Middle Market and Government Contract Banking in Vienna, Va.

VIENNA, Va. (February 10, 2012) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Timothy J. Duggan as Senior Vice President, Head of Middle Market and Government Contract Banking. Based in Vienna, Va., he is responsible for managing middle market and government contract banking throughout TD Bank’s mid-south region, including Virginia, Maryland and Delaware.

Mr. Duggan has 29 years of experience in both commercial and government contract banking. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served for 17 years with SunTrust in the Greater Washington D.C./Baltimore region, spending the past seven years leading that bank’s Technology & Government Division. Before that, he spent 11 years in commercial banking in the Washington, D.C. region. Mr. Duggan is a member of the Professional Services Council and the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce.

A resident of Ashburn, Va., Mr. Duggan is a long-time supporter of the United Way of the National Capital Area, has coached youth sports for 10 years and attends St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce, in Charlottesville. An Arlington, Va., native, Mr. Duggan is a 1978 graduate of Yorktown High School.
