TD Bank Names Scott Sharp Regional Vice President for North Coast and Wilmington Regions of South Carolina

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (March 19, 2012) –TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has promoted Scott E. Sharp to Regional Vice President for the North Coast and Wilmington regions of South Carolina. Based in Myrtle Beach, S.C., he is responsible for overseeing commercial and small business lending and related products and services for the 18 TD Bank stores located within the region.

Sharp has nine years of banking experience. He joined TD Bank in 2009 as a VP Relationship Manager and most recently served as a VP Commercial Team Leader in Commercial Lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a SVP Market President for Woodlands Bank and VP of Commercial Real Estate for Regions Bank, both in the Beaufort County, SC Market. Prior to Banking, Sharp was a mathematics teacher and varsity lacrosse coach at Hilton Head High School.

A Myrtle Beach resident, Sharp served as President of the Hilton Head Bluffton Lacrosse Association and is a Charter Member of The South Carolina Chapter of US Lacrosse. He also serves on the boards of the University of South Carolina New River Business School and the Coastal Discovery Museum. Sharp received a Master’s from Converse College in 1998 and an undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland in 1996.
