TD Bank Names Val Perez Regional Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking for Palm Beach County

WEST PALM BEACH (June 11, 2012) – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, has named Val Perez as Regional Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking for Palm Beach County. Based in West Palm Beach, he is responsible for overseeing commercial banking, business banking and related products and services for TD Bank throughout the region.

Perez has more than 25 years of diverse leadership experience in commercial lending, business and retail banking, marketing, domestic and international private banking, and sales training and support. He has expertise in the design and implementation of sales and service processes along with team development, culture integration and change management.

Prior to joining TD Bank, Perez worked at Citibank as a Regional Small Business Director, responsible for seven states and Washington, D.C. Before that, he served as the Palm Beach Market President and Domestic/International Private Banking Director for Regions Bank in South Florida. Perez spent the majority of his early career at Bank of America in various roles.

A West Palm Beach, Fla., resident, Perez is well known in the Palm Beach County and South Florida professional communities. He is a member of the Executive Board and the past Chair for the Palm Beach County Business Development Board. Perez also is a member of the Executive Cabinet for the American Heart Association and is the Chair for the 2012 Palm Beach County Heart Walk.
