PORTLAND, Maine – Attorney Diane S. Lukac has been appointed the Director of Attorney Recruiting at Bernstein Shur. She will be responsible for lateral and associate recruiting and will formulate recruiting policies, operational procedures, and practices consistent with firm objectives at one of northern New England’s largest multi-service law firms.
Lukac previously chaired Bernstein Shur’s Hiring Committee, where she spearheaded the firm’s successful summer law student program. Also a member of the Litigation Practice Group at Bernstein Shur, her practice in focused in the areas of complex insurance litigation, anti-trust litigation, complex contract litigation, medical malpractice defense, and products liability claims. Lukac joined Bernstein Shur in September 1986.

A South Freeport resident, Lukac received her J.D. cum laude from Boston College Law School, and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Penn. Following law school, she was a law clerk to Justice David G. Roberts at the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
