Attorney Jennifer Sawyer Joins Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson

Attorney Jennifer D. Sawyer has joined the Litigation Department at the statewide law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, and will practice in the areas of education, employment, and labor law. She also serves as a consultant with Advanced Educational Solutions, a division of the firm.

Sawyer formerly served as a law clerk in the Boston University Office of the General Counsel and in the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights. She also worked as a Residence Director at the University of New Hampshire and as an Assistant Residence Director at Northeastern University. Sawyer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the American College Personnel Association, and the Association for Student Judicial Affairs.

A resident of Newmarket, N.H., Sawyer is a Cum Laude graduate from the Boston University School of Law. She received a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in 1996, and received her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Oswego in 1993.
